Today I finally finished a project I have been working on with my students. I borrowed this concept from a video that I saw on Teacher Tube and thought it would be a fun way to get our teachers, admin, and tech staff thinking about technology. I had one of my first grade classes record the audio for me. The kids were thrilled to see something they had a part in on You Tube 🙂
Love it! Love it! Love it! I’ve added it to my class blog for undergrad teacher ed students in the basic tech course.

Thanks!!!!
Thanks for this familiar story with a new twist. I’ll definitely share it with my friends and my friend’s friends…
This is a terrific use of YouTube. I think because it is a familiar story, narrated by children, it will be very user friendly. I will definitely use this with the teachers in my school to help them feel more comfortable about using new technology. Thanks for your hard work!
This is a great way to get people thinking about why we need to use technology. So much is assumed, yet this really breaks it down. Great post and thanks for sharing.

Very nice. What a great idea. I have a couple how-to sessions coming up as part of our technology team trainings and I think this is a great way to get the training off to a great start! Thank you!

That is so cute! I like the children’s participation in it, too!
I love this! Just posted a blog entry about it, hoping to give teachers more ideas for using technology with their favorite classroom books. Thanks for sharing!
WOW! I can’t wait to show this at school. OUR teachers need the “push” to use technology. What a great way to create interest.
What a wonderful and creative way to retell the story. Great job.
Great idea, Kelly. I’ll show this at my next workshop.
Okay, YouTube is blocked in my district and I don’t wanna wait to get home and see it. Can you put in the YouTube link so I can convert it with ZamZar and watch it? I tried looking at the source but I guess I’m copying too much of the link or something… Dying to see this! Share! Share!
This video was so wonderful. It brought tears to my eyes. This is showing that even students are able to understand the importance of technology.
