Integrating technology in the classroom
Very well done. This will be helpful to some of my Mac friends in my building. Keep up the amazing work. 🙂
Great presentation, Kelly. did you put that together? How do you use Pages with your students in the classroom? It looks like very interactive content.
Hi Kelly,
I’ve written to you before about the How are you feeling template you created. I worked on this project with 4 fourth grade classes. The students loved the project and all did an excellent job. I was really happy with the results. I was wondering if you could send me the pages tutorial via email. I just tried to print it and for some reason the images would not print out.
THanks,
Jen
What a great resource! Was this a handout at a professional development?
I’m curious about the format you use to post these. I create a number of training guides for my district, and post them in .pdf format. What made you chose this format? What do you see as the advantage over posting as .pdf?
This is a great resource for us Mac users! Thanks for sharing.
Really impressive! I have a Mac so this will come in handy! Thanks for sharing such great resources.
I used issuu.com to turn this into a ezine. I like the ability to embed the guide into any webpage. Issuu also gives me some additional features that are nice (I can make it public or private, downloadable or not, and track how many have viewed the document).
I did put this together. I did a training last week for the church staff on how to use Pages. I use Pages with my students constantly (we use it instead of Word). Right now my students are creating brochures to “advertise” for their dream school. They have also created postcards, character trading cards, magazines, an empathy feelings page, and a number of reports.
Just sent it to you Jen!
Nicely done! I’ve got a few teachers struggling with Pages…can’t wait to show them your tutorial.
Great! I’m glad that you can use it!
This is just what my father needs! He is a newbie Mac owner, and pastor of a church. Currently, we are updating the church bulletins, and I’ve talked him into using Pages. I know he will benefit from this incredible tutorial! 🙂
Love this tutorial and wanted to use this in my workshop but the site was blocked. I love the format but the images don’t print when I choose to print it. Is there any other way to get this to my workshop participants? It is the best thing I’ve found and I love it!
Thanks for sharing!!
